Introduction
Our return, quiet but smashing, surprised the entire European Zula community with a remarkable opening tournament!

What?
You probably know this if you've been following us for any length of time, but we stopped at the failure of the Zula European League bringing together Europe's biggest teams (Forsaken, Zero Tenacity, Warthox, Warriors Team, PACT, DenizBank Istanbul Wildcats, ArobaseGG) following a disagreement with the game's developers. ZulaClub is all about bringing the community together, so we've decided to come back stronger, more experienced, and above all totally independent to avoid any future failures.

So what did you do?
We began by rebuilding our discord server, which had been deleted in July 2023. By word of mouth, the community came back and were among the first to know about it. We selected 4 captains who put together their teams with players from the following regions:
- Aschente > Turkey (DenizBank Istanbul Wildcats)
- Exter > France (MadeInFrance)
- DluGi > Poland (CATACLYSM)
- Stipeee > Balkans (MyMoony)
And we've brought these 4 teams together to promote the ZulaClub eSport Circuit once again through the Zula Invitational, a closed tournament divided into two parts:
- A Round Robin part in which all the teams will meet and compete with the aim of ranking all the teams from Seed 1 to Seed 4.
- The second part is a Ladder in which teams will advance to the final according to their seeding: Seed 3 and 4 meet, the winner of this match advances to the match against Seed 2, the winner of this second match advances directly to the final and will face Seed 1.
All matches were be BO1 except for the final played in second stage, which was be BO3.
The team that wins the Zula Invitational takes home the €250 cash prize!

First Stage of the Zula Invitational
The Zula Invitational was played live on Twitch on Saturday, March 09, from 7pm to 11:30pm (statistic point: without any promotion on our social networks due to a staff shortage and a logistical problem, we nevertheless counted 55 simultaneous viewers during the event).
The first part was played over time, and it's clear that one team was very dominant: DenizBank Istanbul Wildcats was the favorite, and not without reason: they beat all three European teams!
Cataclysm took Seed 2, MyMoony Seed 3 and MadeInFrance Seed 4, each having won and lost against the other.

Second Stage of the Zula Invitational
The first match of the final round of the tournament pitted MadeInFrance against MyMoony. MyMoony gave MadeInFrance victory by default. But that's only a postponement for the next tournament!
The second match pitted MadeInFrance against a CATACLYSM on fire! The Polish team, who used to play under the colors of ESCA Gaming, showed that their level was still as high as during the ZMC and ZEL. Victory for the Polish team, who punished the French team in Old Town.
The last and most eagerly awaited match was CATACLYSM against DenizBank Istanbul Wildcats. Poland faced Turkey on a BO3. If we had to describe this match in one word: MAGNIFICENT! The Polish team, who were losing 7-1 on Old Town to the Wildcats, managed to come back from the brink and snatch an equaliser: 9-9! The first overtime of the evening ended with a magnificent victory for the Poles: 14-12, first BO in favor of CATACLYSM!
The second BO was just as close as it was played on Mardin. Both teams were at their bounty and it was finally by a narrow margin that the DenizBank Istanbul Wildcats won this second BO 10-8, which meant that one last BO had to be played!
Both teams meet together on Wedding Hall, the last map of the evening, with Aschente's team facing Stipeee's team, two former teammates who know each other very well. After an excellent start from the Wildcats, CATACLYSM managed to recover before a 1vs1 duel ended in favor of the Turkish team, who won this last map 10-6, we have our Zula Invitational Champions!!
